Ron Swanson/Nick Offerman's Doppelganger

Merriam-Webster's dictionary defines a Doppelganger as "a ghostly counterpart of a living person."

Anyone who is familiar with the beloved television show, Parks & Recreation, knows the mustached man who loves breakfast foods and brunette women, Ron Swanson.

Pictured above, is the identity of an unknown man who has an uncanny resemblance to Nick Offerman's character Ron Swanson.

From what I've gathered, the photographer of the Cabinet Portrait Card, was Alston E. Hotchkiss, of Norwich, New York. Hotchkiss ran a popular photo gallery in town in the early 1900s.

For only $2.50 I had to buy this picture and promptly have reached out to the real Nick Offerman via Instagram, in hopes he'll see this too. Perhaps a long-distance ancestor?
