An eclectic event for the whole family

The 8th Annual Chicks Along the Canal kicks off from 10 a.m. to 5p.m Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at 410 Canal Place in Little Falls.

Chicks Along the Canal is gearing up for a fun filled weekend featuring an outdoor marketplace of woman entrepreneurs. Businesswomen will be in the park, rain or shine, selling antiques, re-purpurpsed and up-cycled creations, jewelry, candles and homemade treats. There will be an assortment of vendors and music by Cathie Timian, D’Funk’d, Cait Devlin & Triple Threat. Fun activities include making your own flower crowns, getting inked with Henna body art and enjoying performances by the Lift Theater Company featuring Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night.
